Deputy governor of Gaziantep found dead in Syria's Jarablus

The deputy governor of Turkey’s southeastern province of Gaziantep was found dead in the northern Syrian town of Jarablus, where he was on duty, Asharq Al-Awsat Turkish reported on Saturday.

Ahmet Turgay İmamgiller became the deputy governor of Gaziantep in 2017 and had been working as a coordinator in Jarablus after the  Turkish military operation of Euphrates Shield.

The 49-year-old is believed to have suffered a heart attack; however, officials are waiting on the autopsy result
